| Description | Shawnee County is soliciting sealed bids for 5,000 tons of de-icing salt per the following minimum specifications with orders taking place between Monday, September 26th, 2022 and Friday, May 5th, 2023. Material Specification: Provide material that satisfies the requirements of ASTM D-632, Type 1, Grade 1 Minimum Sodium Chloride (NaCl) Content 95% Color: Natural (White) Material must be free flowing, free of lumps, aggregation and foreign matter. SHAWNEE COUNTY REQUEST FOR QUOTES (RFQ) Quantity: 5,000 tons total, with orders commencing no earlier than Monday, September 26, 2022 and ending no later than Friday, May 5, 2023. Individual orders will be placed at various times in varying amounts to be delivered to the following locations.
