Description

**As of March 27, 2023, project was awarded to Reynolds General Contracting but awarded amount is not available.**  The Work includes, but is not limited to: 1. Vestibule Addition and Related Work Construction of a new main entrance vestibule addition (approximately 175 square feet) including, but not limited to, selective demolition, concrete slab-on-grade, structural steel, cold-formed steel framing, aluminum storefront, interior finishes, hollow metal doors, hardware, and modifications for HVAC, fire sprinkler, lighting, fire alarm, and telecommunication and security systems as required to accomplish the Work. 2. Site Improvements Demolition and replacement of asphalt paving and concrete sidewalk (approximately 2,775 square feet) including, but not limited to, replacement and striping of accessible parking spaces, replacement of concrete sidewalk leading to the main entrance of the school, select areas of landscape restoration, and installation of bollards along the front side of the school. Installation of chain link fencing and gates (approximately 200 linear feet) including, but not limited to, pedestrian gates, swinging service gates, and hardware. Bid Bond: Each contractor's bid of $150,000.00 or more must be accompanied by a certified check, bank cashier's check, or bid bond, equal to 5% of the total Base Bid only, excluding taxes. Make checks payable to the Renton School District; furnish bond executed by a licensed bonding agency authorized to do business in the locality of the project.Apprenticeship Requirement: This Project is estimated to cost less than one million dollars, and is not subject to the apprenticeship requirements of RCW 39.04.320. Right to Reject: The Owner reserves the right to accept the lowest or any other Bid, the right to reject any or all Bids, and the right to waive any irregularities in any Bid. Withdraw of Bid: No Bid may be withdrawn, except with the express permission of the Owner, after the time set for the opening thereof, unless the award of Contract is delayed for a period exceeding 45 days.
