General Tree Maintenance and Related Emergency Services

To provide General Tree Maintenance and Related Emergency services on an as-needed and non-exclusive basis. The City of Albany Forestry Division of the CITY’s Department of General Services has traditionally been a reactive organization, responding to service requests from residents and other City Departments as well as responding to weather-related tree emergencies and enforcing sections of the Albany City Code. The ensuing contract for General Tree Maintenance and Related Emergency services will augment the CITY’s in-house capabilities. The selected Proposer(s) shall perform all tree removals that, because of a tree’s size or condition, requires a crane. The selected Proposer(s) shall also be the CITY’s Emergency Tree Service provider. Other work shall include stump-grinding and tree trimming.
