Sheet Metal Cassette Storage Rack System Bldg. 109 DLA Distribution Jacksonville, FL

This Statement of Work (SOW) covers the engineering, supply, and installation of sheet metal cassette tower racking system for Bldg. 109 at DLA Distribution Jacksonville, FL. This system shall consist of 36 rack units towers with 21 cassette storage levels with nominal dimensions of 12 ft. wide x 5 ft. deep x 2 ins. high for storage of sheet metal products for aircraft repair. Optional work will include demo and disposal of pallet rack rows 1 through 4 and demo 1.5 rack sections 5 -12 at the south end. Work includes demo of the in-rack sprinkler system and reconnection of the system to make the in-rack fire protection in rows 5-18 operable again. All supplied racking shall be compliant with the Nation Fire Protection Association (NFPA) code and the Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC). Work to be performed under this contract consists of furnishing necessary services, materials, equipment, supplies, and labor required to install and make completely operational the systems supplied under this contract.
