Description | In accordance with California Labor Code Section 1770 et seq. payment of the appropriate general prevailing rate of wages for all crafts employed on the public works site is required of the Contractor and all subcontractors. This project has a goal of 3% Disabled Veterans Business Enterprises (DVBE) participation per the State Allocation Board requirements. Compliance with California Education Code Section 45125.1 mandating fingerprinting requirements applies to this project Last questions due, in regard to RFQ/P Apr. 18, 2023 Responding Contractors must be prequalified by the District Apr. 24, 2023 The Scope of Work for this RFP shall include, but not limited to the following Construction Services: 1. Provide constructability analysis with particular attention to the schedule and budget and evaluate materials and methods to assist the District with identifying cost savings measures. 2. Prepare preliminary and detailed estimates of project costs. 3. Development of detailed construction critical path project schedule and campus considerations. 4. Attend meetings as necessary. After assigning the Responsible Contractor, the following shall occur: 5. Soliciting of bids for assembly of a GMP. 6. Presentation of GMP to Board. 7. Administrating Construction of Project. 8. Coordination of record drawings and specifications. 9. Obtaining and coordinating final testing, documentation, and governmental inspections. 10. Preparation of accounting and closeout reports. 11. Other responsibilities as necessary for the completion of the project. All questions about the meaning or intent of this RFQ/P shall be submitted to Facilities and Planning Department, in writing. O Replacement of (E) Water Heaters and Ceiling Exhaust Fans O Campus Wide Interior Refresh: New Flooring and Paint O Campus Wide Replacement of Interior and Exterior Lighting O Campus Wide Replacement of Fire Alarm and Clock/speaker System O Campus Wide Replacement of Data and Classroom Audio/video Equipment O Replacement of (22) Idf O Sistering of (E) Joists at (2) Package Units O Accessibility Upgrades to Student and Staff Restrooms in Bldgs.: a, D, F, H, K, M, S, And P14 O Associated Electrical Work for the Mechanical Work, as Indicated in the Attached Drawings |
