Orem Family Fitness Center Indoor Playground

The contractor will design, construct, and install a new indoor playground at the remodeled Orem Family Fitness Center (which is currently under construction), located at 580 W 165 S, Orem, UT. The existing flooring in the playground area is concrete, though the building’s flooring contractor is currently planning to install Mondo rubber flooring in the area prior to indoor playground equipment installation.. However, if the contractor would prefer a different type of flooring or needs any additional surfacing for the playground, the contractor is also responsible to specify these needs and include the cost (including installation) in their proposal. The playground should appeal to children of all ages (2 - 12), but should have a particular focus on children ages 7 and younger. The area available for the playground is an approximate rectangular shape, though the 2 “long” sides measure 4’ different in length. More specifically, the dimensions of the available space are the following (see Exhibit “A” for location inside facility; note that these dimensions account for the steps and clearance in the room): o Length 1 (shorter long side) - 64’ o Length 2 (longer long side) - 68’ o Width - 21’ 7” o Height: 15’
