RFP - Rockingham County BOE Parking Lot Paving & Seal Coating For Justice Center Parking Lot

Work shall consist ofthe following: removal of approximately +/- 2283 sq. yds of asphalt located at 240 Cherokee Camp Road, Wentworth NC, 27375, as shown on the drawings. Asphalt to be milled and removed from site and disposed of at an approved facility. The County estimates that the existing paving thickness is 2 thickness. Contractor will repair sub-base in any areas marked where underground utilities are located or other areas noted on the drawings and at the site. Repair shall consist ofremoval ofsub-base, removal of unsuitable soils and fill with clean stone and new sub-base material to make level for new paving. Paving shall consist of a final thickness of 2 of S9.5B. Restripe parking spaces upon completion ofpaving along with painting of handicap spaces. Removal of existing parking bumpers before paving operations and placing this back upon completion ofpaving operations to be included in base bid. This is a LUMP SUM bid for this project.
