Potomac Heritage National Scenic Trail - Prince William County

This project constructs three major trail segments of the Potomac Heritage National Scenic Trail (PHNST). The PHNST is designed to be a multi-use trail through the County and is part of the national trail that links the Potomac and upper Ohio River basins. The total cost of completing all segments will be developed as the final alignment of the trail is determined. As of August 18, 2022, this project is included Prince William County - Office of Executive Management FY 2023-2028 CIP. Information regarding design completion and firm construction timelines has not been released. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
