Description

Maryland Department of Transportation, State Highway Administration is soliciting bids for a contractor to provide electrical maintenance and repair services at the Frederick Maintenance Facility and all other SHA properties located within Frederick County, Maryland. No conference will be held. Questions: Any information regarding the requirements or the interpretation of any provision of the Contract Documents shall be requested, in writing and delivered prior to August 31, 2022, at 2:00 PM. Responses to questions or inquiries having any material effect on the bids shall be made by written addenda and sent to all prospective bidders. The Administration will not respond to telephone requests for information concerning this invitation for bids that would materially affect the bid. The Procurement Officer designee Amanda E. Stebbing may be contacted at telephone number 301-624-8272 between 7:30 A.M. and 3:30 P.M. or by FAX 301-624-8280. The Vendor may be required to do emergency repairs at times other than normal working hours. The Vendor shall be able to be available on a twenty-four (24) hour basis for such emergency work, 365 days per year. The Vendor shall supply a monitored 24-hour a day phone number(s) to contact for service. The duration / term of the contract is 36 months.
