RFP - Disaster Management Services

Sarasota County ("County"), a political subdivision of the State of Florida, will receive proposals on the date indicated in Periscope S2G for the purpose of selecting a qualified firm to provide disaster management and administration services. These services shall include consulting, representation, assistance, and support as it relates to the County's recovery efforts, claim documentation compilation, and grant compliance and reporting responsibilities with applicable federal and state regulations and requirements related to miscellaneous disaster recovery programs that are activated and where Sarasota County is an eligible applicant for funding. The selected firm shall support the County in its cost tracking, claim submittal, and reimbursement from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Public Assistance (PA) Program. As such, the Contractor shall review claim documentation and damage based primarily on its anticipated eligibility from the FEMA PA Program and shall separate claim documentation into the applicable disaster recovery program as necessary and where the County may be eligible to receive funding.
