333 Blue Star Highway Sidewalk

As of April 3, 2023, the project has been awarded. A timeline for construction has not been confirmed. The project consists of furnishing all material and constructing the following: Approximately 426 feet of 15" storm sewer Strip topsoil, place fill, and restore for the sidewalk installation. Add alternate for 630 lineal feet of 5' wide 4" concrete sidewalk Including all necessary appurtenances and restoration. The work to be performed under this contract will be financed and paid for by funds received from City of Douglas. A bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check payable to City of Douglas in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total price must accompany each bid. This surety must bind the bidder for a period of forty-five (45) days after the receipt of bids. The project must be completed by June 9, 2023, or 30 days from the start of construction; whichever comes first. Prein&Newhof members who want to purchase the hard copy of the drawings only, may do so for $9.00 dollars. A $15 dollar charge will be added to all 2 mailed drawings and/or specifications. *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time.
