Description | Provide all equipment, personnel, permits, and any other fees, expenses, laboratory analyses, sundries, etc. necessary to fully perform the work in a complete, efficient, and expeditious manner, the hauling and disposal of biosolids from the Arlington County Water Pollution Control Bureau (WPCB). Biosolids are defined herein as the semi-solid organic and inorganic residual material resulting from the wastewater treatment process, which are suitable for beneficial use or recycling per United States 40 CFR, Part 503 Regulations. For the WPCB, this includes both lime stabilized Class B biosolids and dewatered sewage sludge. WPCB generates approximately 38,000 wet tons per year of Class B lime stabilized biosolids which are expected to meet all current Virginia Department Environmental Quality regulatory requirements for Class B, lime- stabilized biosolids. WPCB may require approximately 50 wet tons or less per year disposal, due to maintenance or other activities, of unstabilized dewatered sewage sludge biosolids. |
