Engineering Services - Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Meter and Vault Installation Project

To prepare construction bid documents for a vault and Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) capable meter installation downstream of the Temescal Valley Pipeline (TVP) import connection. The limits shall be a vault installed at a location along Temescal Canyon Road between La Gloria Street and Cajalco Road. EVMWD receives treated water through two import connections: TVP through Western Municipal Water District (WMWD) and Auld Valley Pipeline (AVP) through Eastern Municipal Water District (EMWD). The District maintains its own meter situated closely downstream of EMWD's meter at AVP but does not maintain a similar meter at TVP. As a result, it cannot arrange independent reads, accuracy tests, or calibrations in the same way as the AVP source meter. The proposed meter installation downstream of the TVP import connection with WMWD will be fully owned and operated by EVWMD. The selected Consultant shall investigate the most optimal location to install the new vault and meter and include in the design electrical and structural requirements
