Description | The Project consists of: Contract 2 - Wastewater Collection System Improvements - including open cut point repair, CIPP linings, Pipe Grouting, Manhole repairs, and service line repairs. Bids shall be on unit price and lump sum price basis. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is the office of the Engineer, Waters Engineering, Inc., P. O. Box 567, 908 South Kingshighway, Sikeston, MO 63801, telephone 573.471.5680, E-mail: main@waterseng.com. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Bidding Documents also may be examined at the Campbell City Hall, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM. The shipping charge amount will depend on the shipping method selected by the prospective Bidder. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and Davis Bacon and State Prevailing wage rates to be paid under the contract, Segregated Facility, Section 109, and E.O. 11246. MBE, WBE and Section 3-DBE bidders are encouraged to bid. Bidders should note the new requirements for OSHA training of workmen and the requirements prohibiting the employment of unauthorized aliens prohibited including the submission of an Affidavit of Work Authorization with their bids. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. No pre-bid conference will be held. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. |
