Description The intent of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to obtain proposals and services from firms normally engaged in providing the services requested to replace some of the City's current Pettis Park playground equipment. All Respondents shall be able to provide professional services to design complex playground structures and park equipment, and install them according to national standards, in accordance with Florida Building Code. The current playground structure is approximately nineteen (19) years old. The existing 6-bay swing set on the property is three (3) years old, and shall remain in place as part of the playground area. City Staff shall remove the remaining existing playground structure and prep the area for installation of a new playground. The playground defined area (playground borders in place) is approximately 76' x 96'. The playground is located within the City's Historic Westside, with historical ties to the existing railroad running parallel to U.S. Highway 1 through the City limits. The theme for the playground is trains/railroads.
