Curb, Sidewalk and Paving Project at the Pinebrook Treatment Plant

The total footage of concrete curb replacement is 600 LF. The total area of sidewalk replacement is 1500 square feet. The total area of Type I (Mill and Overlay) is estimated to be 6,500 sq. ft. and is “Alternate Bid A”. The scope of proposed work includes the following items: Concrete Curb Replacement 1. Replace 600 LF of curb in various non-contiguous areas throughout the site. 2. Replacement of curb shall include disturbed asphalt restoration. 3. Up to 90 LF of this scope includes depressed curb at the site entrance. Concrete Sidewalk Replacement 1. Replace 1500 SF of 4” thick sidewalk in various non-contiguous areas throughout the site. 2. Replace two existing concrete ramps at the administration building with ADA compliant ramps including detectable warning surfaces. 3. Care should be taken not to disturb existing adjacent curb. The scope of proposed work for “Alternate Bid A” includes the following items: Type I (Mill and Overlay) 1. Clean and prepare select areas (6,500 sq. ft) for paving (Mill and Overlay) 2. Mill 2” of existing bituminous pavement and remove millings from site. 3. Supply and install Geo Tack fabric, or similar, over large cracks 4. Protect inlet risers, valve box and manhole risers as necessary. 5. Clean and tack coat entire area. 6. Pave prepared areas with 2” of I-5 hot mix asphalt.
