Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond executed by a Surety Company in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the total bid made payable to the Vernal City / Uintah County. The Bidder must supply all the information required by the proposal forms and specifications and he/she must bid on all items of every schedule. Vernal City /Uintah County reservesthe rightto waive any informality in, or to reject any or all portions of, the various bid items. No proposal may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days from the opening thereof Any questions regarding this project are to be directed to the office of Armstrong Consultants, Inc., Grand Junction, Colorado, (970) 242-0101 for interpretation. Contractor is to complete the Project in accordance with the Contract Documents and in accordance with all codes and regulations governing the construction of the Project. Any work, materials, or equipment that may be reasonably inferred from the Contract Documents as being required to produce the intended result shall be supplied by Contractor whether or not specifically called for. Reference to standard specifications, manuals, or codes of any technical society, organization or association, or to the laws or regulations of any governmental authority, whether such reference be specific or by implication, shall mean the latest standard, specification, manual, code, or laws or regulations in effect at the time of opening of bids and Contractor shall comply therewith.
