Design Services for Bruce Vento Elementary School Construction

Design consultant team for the design and construction administration of the entire Bruce Vento Elementary School – New Construction Project (Project), and to obtain a fee proposal for Pre-design services. Work is anticipated to be a multi-story building(s), approximately 140,000 sf total, located on the block defined by Case and Larson Avenues on the south and north, Arkwright N and Desoto Streets on the west and east. The current Bruce Vento Elementary School is located on the west half of this block, and will be demolished following construction of the new elementary school. The two major phases are currently defined as: A. A five (5) section elementary school, with 775-815 students K-5. B. PreK/Community hub that may also include: Early Childhood programming. Spaces for specialized services. Wrap-around or other community support services. Sitework to include staff and visitor parking, separated parent and bus drop-offs, stormwater management, playgrounds (Early Childhood and Elementary) and play areas, and strategies to address the site’s significant elevation change from northwest to southeast.
