Description

The project consists of the reconstruction of Orange Street, an existing, local 2-lane asphalt paved roadway, approximately 3,100 LF from SR-100/W. Madison Street (southern limits) to W. Weldon Street (northern limits), along with associated earthwork, drainage improvements, erosion and sedimentation control, striping and signage improvements, and other associated improvements. The project also includes water and sewer utility improvements throughout the project area, which consists of the construction of approximately 400 LF of 6” water main, 1,920 LF of 8” water main, fittings, valves, fire hydrants, connection to existing mains (and abandonment as required), and replacement and reconnection of existing water services; and the removal and replacement of approximately 1,850 LF of 6” gravity sewer with 2,000 LF of 8” gravity sewer mains, along with manholes, service laterals, and associated restoration.
