2020 Water Main Replacement Program

Division 1: California Street, from Harper to Greater Mack This division of the project consists of the replacement of approximately 2,351 lineal feet of eight inch (8”) water main. New water main consists of new PVC pipe installed using pipe bursting methods, new ductile iron water main installed via open cut, new hydrants, and gate valves. Other work items include CCTV of sanitary leads, lead service line replacements, pavement and sidewalk removal and replacement, new ADA ramps, landings and detectable tiles, driveway removal and replacement and minor drainage improvements. Division 2: California Street, from Greater Mack to Marter This division of the project consists of the replacement of approximately 3,301 lineal feet of eight inch (8”) water main. Approximately 2,279 lineal feet of new C900 PVC water main will be installed using pipe bursting methods, approximately 1,058 lineal feet of new C900 PVC water main installed by horizontal directly drilling (HDD), with new hydrants, and gate valves. Other work items include CCTV of storm and sanitary leads, lead service line replacements, pavement and sidewalk removal and replacement, new ADA ramps, landings and detectable tiles, driveway removal and replacement and minor drainage improvements. The Owner will consider replacing approximately 1015 feet of HDD with open cut between Malvern to Marter Streets from station ±54+85 to 65+00. Division 3: Rosedale Street from Harper to Greater Mack This division of the project consists of the replacement of approximately 2,246 lineal feet of eight (8”) inch water main. New water main consists of new PVC pipe using pipe bursting methods, new ductile iron water main installed via open cut, new hydrants and gate valves. Other work items include CCTV of sanitary leads, lead service line replacements, pavement and sidewalk removal and replacement, new ADA ramps, landings and detectable tiles, driveway removal and replacement and minor drainage improvements. Division 4: Elmira from Greater Mack to Jefferson This division of the project consists of the replacement of approximately 1,555 lineal feet of eight (8”) inch water main. New water main consists of new PVC pipe using pipe bursting methods, new hydrants and gate valves. Other work items include CCTV of sanitary leads, lead service line replacements, pavement and sidewalk removal and replacement, driveway removal and replacement and minor drainage improvements.
