Description | The City of Warner Robins invites the submission of bids for site clearing services to be completed at Fountain Park-Kimberly Drive. Location: Fountain Park-Kimberly Road (Access point located at the Fountain Park parking lot and pool side driveway); The work site area is outlined in an aerial photograph provided in Attachment #1 All questions must be submitted through the City's IonWave bidding system by Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at 10:00AM (ET). All bids must address, but not be limited to, the following: Cutting down, mowing or mulching of small undesirable trees and vegetation (under-brush) above ground and on side slopes of Bay Gall Ditch Buffer There can be NO ground land disturbance within the buffer. The under-brush root systems CANNOT BE DISTURBED. If ground land disturbance is identified, work will be immediately stopped and contractor will be required to provide an alternative way to clear the under-brush Under-brush will be chipped and/or ground using mobile forestry equipment or removed from site Small undesirable trees may be cut at the base to ground level and piled for removal or ground using mobile forestry equipment Chips or shreds generated by mobile forestry equipment operations may be left in place Limbs and vegetative debris under-brush not chipped, shredded or ground, must be removed from the work site upon completion of said scope of work There will be no long-term piles of vegetative matter Services must be completed within 30 days of award date All business and professional licensure, as well as safety credentials, must be submitted The bid, if awarded, will be awarded to the responsible bidder whose bid will be most advantageous to the City of Warner Robins, price, availability and other factors considered. The City of Warner Robins reserves the right to accept none, all, or any part of the bid, and to waive all formalities. |
