Christian Brook Sewer Separation Project - Contract 1

The Christian Brook Sewer Separation Project, Contract 1 includes construction of approximately one mile of reinforced concrete storm drain, including approximately 1,100 feet of 60-inch storm drain, 500 feet of 48-inch storm drain, 3,000 feet of 42-inch storm drain, and 200 feet of 24-inch storm drain at depths in the range of 12 to 22 feet. The project also includes installation of 24, 5-foot to 8-foot diameter precast manholes, reconfiguration of two existing CSO regulators and installation of new catch basins with four-foot sumps along the project corridor. Pavement restoration will consist of full depth roadway reconstruction. The project is expected to involve ledge removal and groundwater dewatering. Construction duration is approximately two years for final completion.
