| Description | D264830, PIN 001768, Suffolk Co., GUIDE RAIL REHABILITATION, Robert Moses Causeway, NYS Route 27A to Southern State Parkway, Town of Islip Goals: SDVOB: 6.00% This project proposes to replace the existing rustic guide rail on Robert Moses Causeway from Montauk Highway (NY27A) to Southern State Parkway in the Town of Islip in Suffolk County. The rustic guide rail will be replaced with guide rail that meet current engineering standards. In addition, new sections of guide rail will be added, if warranted, to ensure the safety of the traveling public. The current status of the project is In Development. The Bid Opening is expected to be in Summer 2022. Construction is expected to begin in Summer 2022. Construction is expected to be completed in Fall 2023.
