2022 Drainage and Pavement Improvements

The Project includes Base Bid (High School Parking Lot), Add Alternate 1 (Bus Road), and Add Alternate 2 (Field House Road). Base Bid work consists of preparation of existing base, pavement, a stormwater inlet and piping, a concrete entrance with curb, pavement markings, and minor amounts of excavation to allow new pavement to connect to existing pavements. Parking lot pavement options include 6" thick reinforced concrete and 8" asphalt. Add Alternate 1 (Bus Road) consists of preparation of existing base, pavement, base aggregate shoulder transitions, and minor amount of excavating at each end to facilitate connection of new pavement to existing pavements. Bus Road pavement options include 7" thick reinforced concrete and 9" asphalt. Add Alternate 2 (Field House Road) consists of excavation at each end to allow connection to existing surfacing, biaxial geogrid overlaid with a 6" layer of 3" base rock and then topped with a 3" layer of Type 1 base aggregate. Removal of some concrete rubble is required.
