Construct 2-bay and 6-bay Box Hangars Aip Project No. 3-20-0052-057 Olsson Project No. 022-06974 The Project Will Include but is Not Limited to the Following Major Categories of Work: Unclassified Excavation (3,400 Cy); P-501 Concrete Pavement (1,500 Sy); 2-bay Aircraft Storage Hangar 50'x100' With Water, Sewer, Gas, and Electric; 6-bay Aircraft Storage Hangar 33'x252' With Electric; Miscellaneous Parking Repairs and Site Paving; Minor Storm Sewer; Pavement Markings; Seeding; Sodding; and Ancilliary Items. Contractor's bidding need not be pre-qualified but shall be qualified to do the work. All persons awarded and/or entering into Contracts with the City of Manhattan shall be subject to and required to comply with all applicable city, state, and federal provisions pertaining to non-discrimination, equal employment opportunity, and affirmative action on public Contracts. This project is subject to the requirements of the Davis-Bacon Act, as amended. The Contractor is required to comply with the wage and labor requirements and to pay minimum wages in accordance with the schedule of wage rates established by the United States Department of Labor. This project is subject to the requirements of 49 CFR Part 26 Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Participation. The Airport Sponsor has established a contract participation goal of 3.4% for small business concerns owned and controlled by certified disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE). The Owner's award of this contract is conditioned upon the bidder satisfying the good faith effort requirements of 49 CFR 26.53. General Civil Rights Provisions: In all its activities within the scope of its airport program, the Contractor agrees to comply with pertinent statutes, Executive Orders, and such rules as identified in Title VI List of Pertinent Nondiscrimination Acts and Authorities to ensure that no person shall, on the grounds of race, color, national origin (including limited English proficiency), creed, sex (including sexual orientation and gender identity), age, or disability be excluded from participating in any activity conducted with or benefiting from Federal assistance. This provision is in addition to that required by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The above provision binds the Contractor and subcontractors from the bid solicitation period through the completion of the contract.
