RFP Construction Manager - New Animal Shelter for Bainbridge-Decatur County Humane Society

The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: site work and new construction of a municipal facility. The owner has selected a Construction Manager. It is anticipated that construction may begin around September 1, 2022. This is an RFP to bring on a Construction Manager, who will then be responsible for placing the project out for subcontractor proposals at a later date. The City of Bainbridge is requesting written submittals from qualified firms to provide Professional Construction Management Services for the construction of the New Animal Shelter for the Bainbridge-Decatur County Humane Society at Zorn Road. It is the intention of the City of Bainbridge to employ the Construction firm to provide overall Project Construction Management, Cost Benefit Studies, Construction Contract Management, and Construction at Risk on a cost plus a fee basis, with Guaranteed Maximum Price. Submittals will be removed and evaluated by a Selection Committee, which will make a recommendation to the BDCHS Board of Directors. There will be no presentations.
