Description

Previous project relevant work history must be submitted demonstrating the range of work listed below. Limiting it to a small selection that does not show the desired diversification required can affect a Company’s prequalification into the program. The Painting Contractor shall have the ability and experience to self-perform: 1. Application of all paints including enamel, latex, epoxy, oil and/or lacquer to any interior and/or exterior surfaces of buildings or areas including but not limited to walls, doors, woodwork, ceilings and fixtures. 2. Application of all primers, varnishes, urethane, and/or stains to any interior and/or exterior surfaces of buildings or areas including but not limited to walls, doors, woodwork, ceilings and fixtures. 3. Preparation of surfaces for the purpose of receiving such applications. 4. Preparation of surfaces by removing old finish/products or by placing putty and/or filler in imperfections and interstices. 5. Application of such products by spray gun, roller, brush and/or other mechanical means. 6. Performing such incidental or related work as is customarily performed by those in the painting trades. 7. Knowledge of surface peculiarities and types of paint and stains required for different applications. 8. Tape and repair drywall. 9. Erect scaffolding, sets up ladders and/or motorized lifts to perform tasks above ground level. 10. Temporarily move and replace furniture and equipment. 11. Provide and install proper ventilation equipment in support of spray-painting operations. 12. Protection of travel surfaces from areas of material storage to work areas.
