Dredge Entrance Channel (Fy22) at USCG Station Eatons Neck

Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, materials, tools, vehicles, supervision, and other items and services required to perform maintenance dredging by mechanical means of the entrance channel into the mooring basin of CG Station Eaton’s Neck: The total estimated amount of material to be removed from the channel is 9,000 cubic yards of sand, gravel and cobbles. This estimate is 3,000 cubic yards more than previous years’ estimates due to approximately 3,000 cubic yards of material being left within the dredge area following FY21 dredging. - Conduct dredging operations so that navigation through the channel is possible at all times. - Dredge quantity of 9,000 cubic yards is an estimate based on an average of the annual dredging over previous years of approximately 6,000 CY plus an additional 3,000 CY of material that was left within the area followig the FY21 dredging. The Contractor shall provide a cost for dredging per cubic yard. That per cubic yard cost will be used for any necessary contract cost adjustment resulting from dredging more or less than the estimated 9,000 cubic yards, within the limits of dredge. Contractor will be compensated for actual quantity of dredge material removed and disposed, within the limits of dredge, as shown on the plans and specifications. - Dredge disposal site location is to be the west 400 feet of the Coast Guard Beach, as identified in ACOE Permit # NAN-2016-00301.
