Description

The Base Bid will include milling, resurfacing, in the following areas; Murean Street (Murnan Lane), from W. Johnson St. to Cul-De-Sac (North), Hickory Lane, from Cul-De-Sac (South) to Cul-De-Sac (North), Pin Oak Drive, from Murnan Lane to Hickory Lane, and Pin Oak Drive, from Hickory Lane to Cul-De-Sac (East). The Project, which is funded from Town funds and a Community Crossings Grant, will be constructed in up to one (1) contract division. In general, the work consists of providing all labor and material for the project. Copies of any and all addenda which may be issued for this project shall be included with the purchased documents and shall be forwarded to all bid documents holders at their return street address. Documents may be examined at Eastern Engineering Supply Reprographics, 9901 Allisonville Road, Fishers, Indiana 46038, Phone: 317.598.0661. Bids must be submitted on the forms provided in the Bid Documents and shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount bid with satisfactory corporate surety or by a certified check on a solvent bank. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the Bid. Any Bid may be withdrawn prior to the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids. All bids received shall remain valid and in force for 60 calendar days after the date of Bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids in whole or in part as specified in the solicitation when it is not in the best interest of the governmental body as determined by the purchasing agency in accordance with IC 5-22-18-2. The Owner also reserves the right to waive irregularities in any Bid, and to accept any Bid, which is deemed most favorable to the Owner.
