Parking Lot Renovations and Expansion at Sharon Elementary School and Parking Lot Modifications for New Bus Drop Off Area at Pond Road Middle School

Scope of Work Pond Road MS: Modification of the existing drop off area and parking area at the front of Pond Road Middle School by removing the front row of parking stalls and grass islands to accommodate angled bus parking stalls for drop off and pick up operations. Scope is to provide 26 new bus stalls. Existing lighting to remain and the stalls will work around the existing condition with bollards or raised posts for the lighting fixtures. Minor modifications and relocations of the ADA parking stalls and striped walkways to the concrete sidewalk. Scope of Work Sharon ES: Modifications and expansion to the rear parking lot and repaving of the small front parking lot area. There will also be new sidewalks at the rear of the school. there will be modifications to the five (5) exterior stairs and landings near the back parking lot and gymnasium exits. Each stair presents a different repair issue, with concrete, nosings and stair railings needing repair and replacement. The nosings are in need of replacement in all five locations, while two areas are in need of concrete replacement. Several railings were broken while the rest were in very good condition.
