Description | To furnish all labor, material, equipment, supervision, etc. and perform all work and services necessary for and incidental to the proper, completion of reroofing water plant. Tear off old roofing down to concrete deck and properly dispose of. Leave vapor barrier on concrete deck where possible. Dumpsters included in price and all cleanup. Vendor must do own roof measurements to determine quantity. Install new 2 ISO insulation on existing concrete deck with insulation adhesive. Install new tapered ISO Insulation with 1/4 per foot slope over 2 ISO on roof areas requiring drainage and 1/2 per foot slope crickets to promote positive drainage. Install .060 adhered EPDM roof system and associated flashing per specifications. Properly terminate flashing at bottom of stone coping. Replacing missing gutter. Hidden gutter and scupper to be relined. Strip stone coping joints with uncured EPDM. Furnish a $1,000,000.00 property liability Insurance Certificate. Furnish a 20 Year NDL Manufacturer's Warranty and Vendor must provide 5-year warranty on workmanship. All parapet walls to receive new coping in customers choice of color. All workers covered by Kentucky Workers Compensation Insurance. The City of Ashland is Requesting Bids for the Water Plant Roof Replacement; Filter Area and Water Plant Garage Roof, Provide Materials, Labor, and Equipment to Repair / Replace Any Damaged Areas of the Roof and All Clean Up. For the Department of Utility Operations, Division of Water Treatment Plant. The City of Ashland through its City Manager reserves the right to accept all or to reject all or any part of the bid should it be deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Ashland. |
