| Description | The work shall include all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, services, and incidentals and performing all work necessary to provide the Owner with sand for the Aucilla Area Solid Waste facility MSW landfill expansion as described below. The Project site is located east of SR 221, one mile southeast of Greenville in Madison County, Florida. Work is described as the procurement, testing, and delivery of sand to the Project site. Up to 52,000 cubic yards of sand will be required to be furnished and delivered to the site. The sand must meet a hydraulic conductivity of 1x10-3 cm/s or greater and other specified requirements. Contractor shall provide 3 5-gallon buckets of sand per borrow source for permeability, standard proctor, and grain sieve size testing for initial approval. |
