Description | Constructing, maintaining and removing temporary crossovers and detour roadways, removing existing concrete overlay, scarifying concrete surfaces, bridge deck repair, furnishing, placing curing and texturing a modified concrete overlay on the three bridges, expansion joint modification on two bridges, removing existing sign bridge and corresponding illumination system, furnish and placing a new sign bridge, installing roadway delineation, placing slope protection rock, bark and wood mulch and landscaping plants, signing, traffic control and other work. Involves 84 items and 150 working days. Work class 6. Repair and resurface the existing bridge deck to maintain the structural integrity, continue safe operation of the highway and extend the life of the bridge. As of February 01, 2023, this project is in Final Planning status. Preliminary engineering has begun and environmental design is expected to be complete in the fourth quarter of 2022. The contract advertisement is expected in first quarter of 2023 and construction is anticipated to be operationally complete in the fourth quarter of 2023.
