Description | Sealed Proposals will be received by Robert Treat Academy for the Replacement and Upgrades to HVAC at the Jackie Robinson Campus located in Newark, Essex County, New Jersey. HVAC replacement of Roof Top Units and additions of new compressors. Replacement of existing Boiler. New ceilings, lighting and ductwork in some offices. Bids will be rendered in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-4., Drawings and specifications shall be available for inspection at the Architects Office from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Thursday and 8:00 am to 12:00 pm Friday.Drawings, Specifications, Proposal Forms, etc. may be obtained from the Architects Office Any questions or requests for clarifications shall be submitted in writing to the Architects office no later than Noon September 28, 2023 by emailing dspanton@ssparchitects.com The Owner and Architect have determined that only DPMC Trade Classifications listed below are deemed eligible to bid this project. C032 HVACR Each bidder must deposit with his Bid, a security in the amount of 5% of the overall Bid, in the form of a certified check or standard bid bond and subject to the conditions provided in Section B: Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract and satisfactory in form, execution and sufficiency of surety. All bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., Affirmative Action Against Discrimination (N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq.), (Executive Order 11246 regarding Equal Employment Opportunity-, and N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2 regarding disclosure of bidders ownership. A non-collusion affidavit, certificate of pre-qualification, and affidavit as to total amount of uncompleted contracts must accompany each bid. All contractors are subject to background checks. Refer to Section B Instructions to Bidders for additional information. All bids shall be irrevocable, not subject to withdrawal and shall stand available for a period of (60) sixty days. The Robert Treat Academy Charter School Reserves the Right to Reject Any Non Responsive Bid or All Bids Pursuant to NJSA 18A:18A-22. Or to Waive Any Minor Informalities in Any Bid or to Award a Lump Sum Contract, in Such a Manner as Shall Be, in the Judgment of the Board of Education, to the Lowest Responsive and Responsible Bidder, All in Conformity With the Law. PARTLY, REPLACEMENT OF REFLECTED CEILING ALONG WITH NEW GRID IN SAME PLACE IN EXISTING GENERAL OFFICE, OFFICES AND STAFF LOUNGE The Work consists of, but not limited to; HVAC replacement of Roof Top Units and additions of new compressors.
