| Description | This sale is a thinning of 232 acres and a clearcut of 108 acres planted loblolly and slash pine in the Cow Creek Tract of Goethe State Forest in Levy County, Florida. Timber available to be harvested includes all unmarked pine timber within the sale boundaries. Marked timber is not to be harvested or damaged. Sale boundaries are Wolf Arbor Road on the north and orange painted trees and cypress swamps on the south, east and west. Total estimated sale volume is approximately 16,510 tons. Estimated volume includes 1,355 tons of sawtimber, 5,560 tons of chip-n-saw, and 9,595 tons pulpwood (inclusive of topwood). This will be a twelve (12) month contract. |
