| Description | The project is located in West Haven at Cove River where Ocean Avenue changes nameto Captain Thomas Boulevard, and seeks to replace deteriorated tide gates and a pedestrian bridge. The existing flap gates will be replaced with a combination of stainless steel flap gates and self regulating tide gates (SRT), and the existing pedestrian bridge will be replaced with a prefabricated steel-truss pedestrian bridge with concrete deck. Work items include, but are not limited to: traffic control, pollution control, water handling, clearing and grubbing, existing structures removal, earthwork,installation of new structures, seeding and mulching. |
