Fabrication and Installation of Custom Iron Arch Griffin-Latona Park

**As of October 7, 2022, bids for this project has been rejected. As of this time it is unknown if and when project will rebid. The work performed under this contract includes fabricating and installing a custom iron arch approx. 9' x 8' substantially similar to the attached drawing. Material to be sandblasted, metalized and painted in accordance with current standards. The successful bidder shall provide shop drawings for approval by the city with up to three (3) sets of revisions to the initial design. The Contractor is wholly responsible for the final design and installation of the arch in accordance with applicable codes and requirements. All field measurements, testing, and design considerations including footing design to withstand winds in accordance with current code shall be by the Contractor. Final design to be signed and sealed by a licensed professional engineer in the State of New Jersey. Principal items of work in the project include: - Design of arch, footing and all other attachments - Fabricating of selected design - Installation and site restoration The work contemplated under this Contract shall be completed by September 1, 2022. Proposals must be made on the standard proposal form provided, accompanied by a Proposal Guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond from a Surety/Bonding Company licensed and qualified to do business in the State of New Jersey pursuant to Federal and/or State law as a Surety, a Certified Check, or Cashier's Check in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the total amount bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00 to ensure signing of the contract. The City of Passaic is only responsible for forwarding addendums or clarifications to those prospective bidders who obtained specifications directly from the City of Passaic, Division of Purchasing or to those who have put the City of Passaic Division of Purchasing on notice as having received the specification. Bidders must be registered with the Division of Revenue, State of New Jersey for a Business Registration Certificate at the time of contract award. If awarded a contract, your company/firm shall be required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A.10:5-31 et. seq. and N.J.A.C 17:27. The City Council has the right to consider bids for sixty (60) days after their receipt.
