Description

Perform the removal of stream debris for the Brunswick County Emergency Watershed Protection (EWP) Project Round 3. This project consists of five (5) emergency watershed protection project sites throughout Brunswick County. The work to be performed is specific for each site and may include stream debris removal from the stream corridor, streambank stabilization, hauling and disposal of debris, and backfilling and sediment removal. Brunswick County will require all debris removed from the channel to be placed a minimum of twenty (20) feet from the edge of the bank to prevent the debris from floating back into the stream and when possible, to be placed on the same side of the stream from which the debris originated.
