| Description | PURPOSE: The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as "VDOT") is soliciting bids from qualified firms to assemble and install Corrugated Steel Aluminized (CSA) Pipe Culverts in Albemarle County for Culpeper District VDOT. The assembly and installation date will be determined by VDOT. VDOT currently anticipates the CSA Pipe Culvert installation to be completed by October 6, 2022 with the Route 627 Detour to remain in place until November 3, 2022. PERIOD OF CONTRACT: From Date of Award through installation. Non-renewable. The contract shall cover the period from date of award through completion which will be 36 calendar days after the 14th day of the message board's activation. CSA Pipe Culvert installation shall be completed by October 6, 2022 with the Route 627 Detour to remain in place until November 3, 2022 unless an extension is approved by VDOT. II. QUESTIONS REGARDING THIS INVITATION FOR BID: Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be addressed in writing to Jason.Bailey@vdot.virginia.gov The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised. Provide questions no later than 3:00 PM on July 18, 2022. |
