Description | Site Visit Directions: There are three entrances into Port Everglades. (1) The 17th Street Causeway entrance located at Eisenhower Boulevard, (2) State Road 84 entrance located just off of US 1, and (3) the I-595 East entrance Exit 12b. Proper Identification such as Driver's License or Passport is required for entry and your vehicle may be subject to search. Anticipate delays at checkpoints/entrances. Attendance at the site visit is optional. The vendor is cautioned that, although the site visit is optional, no modification or any changes will be allowed in the pricing because of the failure of the vendor(s) to have visited the site. Job site visitation is strongly recommended; submission of a bid will be construed that the vendor is acquainted sufficiently with the work to be performed. Scope of Work: To provide all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals necessary for air conditioning (AC) equipment and the Energy Management System (EMS) for the Broward County Port Everglades Department in accordance with the Specifications and Requirements herein. This solicitation includes participation goals for Broward County certified County Business Enterprises. Refer to Special Instructions and the Office of Economic and Small Business Development Requirements section for additional information. Ownership Disclosure Requirements: As a matter of Vendor responsibility, Vendor must submit a completed Ownership Disclosure Form (refer to Special Instructions to Vendor for additional information). The Living Wage Ordinance applies to this solicitation and the resultant contract. Refer to Living Wage Ordinance Requirements section for additional information. Additional Offer Field: Line item(s) include an offer field for "Percentage of Price Attributed to Labor Portion of Service". Vendor is instructed to provide the percentage of the price that is attributed to the labor portion of this service line. Workforce Investment Program applies to this contract. Refer to Workforce Investment Program Requirements section for additional information. Bid Allowance Amounts: This solicitation includes pass-thru allowances. It is not necessary to add your allowance amounts into your bid prices. Periscope S2G will automatically add the allowance amounts indicated to your bid total and will be reflected on the final bid tabulation. Basis of Award: Awards will be in accordance with the General Conditions. Bidders must bid all items within each Group. A bidder desiring to offer "No Charge" on an item must indicate by placing a $0.00 in the offer field for that item, and enter "No Charge" in the "Notes for Buyer" section in the EBS (electronic bidding system); otherwise it will be construed as incomplete and may be rejected. County/State License Requirements: In order to be considered a responsive and responsible Vendor for the scope of work set forth in this solicitation, the Vendor must possess a specified license at the time of submittal (refer to Special Instructions for requirements).
