Description

Front Walk Access at the University of Mississippi Baseball Stadium - sidewalk modifications. The Project consists of the construction/alterations/demolition of utilities/sitework as described in the drawings and project manual. All Bidders, including subcontractors, shall visit the Project site, compare the plans and specifications with any work in place and be informed of all conditions. Failure to visit the site will in no way relieve the successful Bidder from furnishing any materials or performing any work required to complete work in accordance with the plans and specifications without additional cost to the Owner. Questions should be directed to A2H, PLLC. Should a Bidder find discrepancies in, or omissions from the plans and specifications, or be in doubt as to their meaning, the Bidder should immediately notify A2H, PLLC in writing. A2H, PLLC will send written instruction(s) or interpretation(s) to all known holders of the documents. Neither the Owner nor the Design Professional will be responsible for nor bound by any oral instruction or interpretation. Bid preparation will be in accordance with Instructions to Bidders bound in the project manual. The University of Mississippi reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids submitted. Bids must be submitted on the form to be furnished by the architect and must be accompanied by bid bond or certified check for at least five percent (5%) of the base bid payable to University of Mississippi, University, Mississippi. In no event is a product to be used in this project known to contain any hazardous or toxic waste or material, radioactive materials, or other contaminants, the removal of which is required or the maintenance of which is prohibited, regulated or penalized by any local, state, or federal agency, authority or governmental unit. If any product is inadvertently specified which contains such materials, it is the Contractor's, subcontractor's and supplier's obligation and duty to advise the Architect/Engineer of this fact prior to the ordering and/or installing of the product or material.
