Description | 1. Remove existing roof insulation and membrane down to concreate deck and properly dispose of. 2. Provide and install new 2.6" POLYISO insulation fully adhered with low rise foam. 3. Provide and install new .060 mil TPO membrane fully adhered to new insulation to manufactures specifications 4. Flash all walls, curbs, drains, and penetrations to manufacture's specifications. 5. Provide and install new gravel stop to manufactures specifications. 6. Roof is approximately 11,000 Square Feet; vendor is responsible for verifying total square footage prior to submitting their bid. Proposals must provide a minimum of two (2) year warranty for installation/workmanship by vendor. 2. Proposals must state length of manufactures warranty on membrane. 3. Vendor must possess a valid North Carolina General Contractors License and must submit proof of licensure with bid information. 4. Approximation listed above is for information purposes only. Vendor is responsible for verifying total square footage of the roof prior to submitting bid. Failure to do so will not be grounds for termination or canceling bid. 5. Vendor will be responsible for maintain a clean and safe working environment. 6. Vendor will be responsible for disposing of all trash produced by the project. 7. Vendor will coordinate all work with Burke County General Serviecs to ensure safe access to the building for the public and staff is maintained during the project. 8. Vendor must provide general liability insurance, with a combined single limit of $1,000,000 for each occurrence and $2,000,000 in the aggregate or as otherwise specified in addendum, whichever is greater. A certificate of insurance must be provided before work begins. Questions are due Monday, October 31st at 5:00 pm local time.. All questions should be directed by email to: brian.nieft@burkenc.org. Answers to all questions will be posted at electronically. Any bid received later than the specified date and time will not be accepted or considered. The County of Burke reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids not deemed to be in the best interest of the County, to cancel the RFP in part or in its entirety, or to waive irregularities. |
