Description | The owner has determined a prequalified list of Construction Manager. Proposal submissions are due on November 10th. It is anticipated that the official selection will take place on November 22, 2021. Request for Qualifications for Construction Manager at Risk services for the Tisbury School renovation and addition project, located at 40 West William Street, Tisbury, MA 02658 This RFQ is the first phase of a two-phase procurement process as set forth in M.G.L. c. 149A. Only those respondents deemed qualified will be invited to submit a Proposal in response to a detailed Request for Proposals which will be issued in the second phase of the procurement process. In February 2019 the Town of Tisbury, acting through its Select Board and School Committee, appointed a nine-member School Building Committee to study the feasibility of a renovation and addition project for the Tisbury School. The Tisbury School serves grades Kindergarten through 8 th grade. The feasibility study and preferred Schematic Design was completed in September 2020. On June 13, 2021, the Project far exceeded the necessary 2/3 majority approval at Town Meeting and on June 22, 2021, the Project received more than the necessary simple majority for funding approval at the ballot. The Project is the renovation of approx. 42,500 GSF of the existing 1929 section of the original building and the 1993 addition to the existing building, partial demolition of the 1939 and 1951 sections of the existing building, and new construction of approx. 32,000 GSF that will provide educational program spaces, a gymnasium, and administrative and support spaces. The 5.15-acre site is located at 40 West William Street in the town of Tisbury, Massachusetts. The applicable minority workforce utilization percentage is 15.3% The applicable women workforce utilization percentage is 6.9% |
