Fascia Replacement & Painting at Laurel Gardens 667-1 & 2 Elderly Housing Developments - General Bid

The Saugus Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors for the Fascia Replacement & Painting at Laurel Gardens 667-1 & 2 Elderly Housing Developments for the Saugus Housing Authority in Saugus, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by Raymond T. Guertin, Architect. The Project consists of: Replacement of approx 2,500 LF of fascia boards & moldings with new PVC trim. Related work includes temporary removal and re-installation of existing aluminum gutters & downspouts, selective trim replacement and painting as shown on the drawings. The work is estimated to cost $ 202,000.00 Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.l49 26 to 27H inclusive. General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the category of GENERAL BUILDING CONSTRUCTION. General bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates) and made payable to the Saugus Housing Authority. General bidders must agree to contract with minority and women business enterprises as certified by the Supplier Diversity Office (SDO), formerly known as SOMWBA. The combined participation goal reserved for such enterprises shall not be less than 13% percent of the final contract price including accepted alternates.
