| Description | The Contractor shall remove existing non-compatible mortar from the metal to masonry joints, stone sills meet brick, brick meets lentils, lentils meet metal, clean and prep contact edges, create pockets for new backer rods. and replace with a mortar compatible with brick masonry subjected to excessive moisture, remove all loose and deteriorated glazing gaskets/compound where metal meets window glass, previously installed sealant, clean and prep contact edges and install bond breaker tape. Supply and install new backer rod and /or bond breaker tape where necessary. Prime all brick and stone sills prior to caulking installation. Supply and install Pecora Silicon Sealant or equal and match the existing color as close as possible. The Contractor shall provide all coordination, scheduling, supervision, labor, equipment, materials, incidentals, and appurtenances, hauling from site, and off-site disposal. |
