Security Services at the City-Owned Properties

Work will consist of traveling between the California Street Landfill (2151 Nevada St.) and the Wastewater Treatment Facility (1950 Nevada St.) and performing the following: Days of Service: seven (7) days/week from 7:00 pm to 05:30 am. Recognize and respond to security threats or breaches. Immediately contact Redlands Police Department if any security or emergencies occur. Patrols assigned territory to protect and guard properties. Record keeping of any emergencies or abnormal activities, followed by an email and phone call to City personnel. Provide all necessary equipment to perform security services of the highest quality. Prevent trespass, damage or theft of property and equipment by implementing proper security procedures. Make continuous rounds and inspections of properties to ensure that all gates, doors, and windows are properly closed and secured. Maintain a visible presence in both areas.
