Description

This project consists of the rehabilitation, restoration, and resurfacing (3R) of approximately 4.95 miles and reconstruction (4R) of approximately 1.71 miles of road. Major work elements include widening the roadway to a consistent width and vertical and horizontal alignment changes to correct roadway geometry and improve safety. Construction will generally include cut slopes (bedrock and soil), embankment, deep patch embankment stabilization, aggregate base course, and paving. Improvements include clearing roadside vegetation, stabilization of shoulders, drainage improvements (including large pipes, deep pipes, and concrete headwalls), pavement markings, and updating signing. Select parking/pullouts and access road intersections will also be rehabilitated or reconstructed.
