Description | 1. The existing polyurethane foam roof system will be power washed to remove any dirt and debris. 2. A moisture survey will be performed to check for wet insulation. If moisture is found, a price shall be provided to the owner. 3. Repair all cracks, splits, blisters, and wet insulation, per BASF requirements. 4. In areas of repair spray/ apply a layer of 3.0-pound density polyurethane foam as manufactured by BASF. 5. At all perimeter edges, V-groove edge and install silicone construction grade sealant per manufacturer’s requirements. 6. Embed a layer of 6” fabric at all perimeter edges, (3” on face of metal edge, and 3” onto roof surface) into a 1.5 gps layer of wet coating, let dry and install extra layer of top coating to encapsulate fabric completely. 7. Apply BASF Elastocoat S-5001 Low Solid Silicone coating over the existing roof surface. The total new coating thickness is to be additional (15) dry mills in 2 coats. Additionally, BASF requires 20 mils over any new foam at all repair locations. 8. All materials to be applied with manufacturers approved equipment and per manufacturers recommendations. 9. A two (2) year labor and ten (10) year Material Warranty will be required upon completion of the work. 10. CCSD will supply temporary water (standard hose connection, 10 gal/min output) and temporary power (220 volts – single phase). CCSD will provide suitable storage and staging areas. 11. CCSD will cooperate with the Contractor in relocation automobiles to minimalize the risk of over spray. |
