Pascua Yaqui Tribe Ignacio M. Baumea Reconstruction Project

The full reconstruction of a two-lane undivided roadway section to add bike lanes and sidewalk along Ignacio M. Baumea between Calle Torim and Los Reales Road, totaling 0.49 mile. Bid Work includes earthwork, the extension of a reinforced concrete box culvert, new pipe culverts, and associated inlet and outlet mitered ends, headwalls as shown, channel and roadside ditch excavation and erosion protection, furnishing and placing aggregate base and asphaltic concrete, constructing concrete curb, sidewalk, pavement markings, lighting, landscaping and irrigation, installation of artwork, and related incidental work., located on the New Pascua Reservation in Tucson, Arizona. Estimate for construction is approximately $3.5 - $4.5 million. RFI's will be accepted through 5:00 PM, Wednesday, March 1, 2023. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Native American and local firms will receive preference. The Owner reserves the right to select the most responsive and responsible bidder Each bid shall be made out on the bid form marked "04 Exhibit (A) - Bid Schedule Form", which shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or bid bond for 5 percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. Such check or bid bond will be given as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into the contract to perform the work if awarded to them and shall be declared forfeited as liquidated damages if the successful Bidder refuses to enter into the said Contract after being requested to do so by the Owner. Such check of bid bond will be returned to the respective unsuccessful Bidders upon the Award of the Contract to the successful Bidder and will be returned to the successful Bidder upon the execution and delivery of satisfactory surety company bonds and construction contract. Award of this Contract is subject to a determination by the Tribe that the contractor is eligible to contract for federally funded activities. The Contract time allotted for this project is 240 working days.
