Oxford Water Main Replacement

The Town of Oxford, Maryland (the “Town”) is requesting proposals for a Construction Manager and Resident Project Representative to serve as the Owner’s Site Representative for the Town’s construction of Oxford Water Main Replacement – Morris Street, consisting of cleaning and structurally lining approximately 3,000 linear feet of existing 8” water main located on Morris Street and installation of approximately 800 linear feet of new 8” and 6” water main, and replacement of approximately 93 water services with 1.5” services, installation of new valves and fittings, connection to existing hydrants, temporary bypass of water lines and services, waterline cleaning and pre and post installation CCTV inspections, excavation, dewatering, pavement, existing site restoration, chlorination and disinfection, liner samples and testing (the “Project”). The Project was designed by George, Miles & Buhr, LLC (“GMB”) (the “Engineer”) and has received loan funding from the Maryland Department of the Environment (“MDE”) under the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (“DWSRF”). The Town is seeking a Construction Manager having the qualifications and specific experience in the successful completion of this type of construction management and which submits a responsive proposal. Qualified minority business enterprises (MBE’s) and women’s business enterprises (WBE’s) are especially encouraged to participate.
